Ferry from Dubrovnik to Pomena (Mljet)

Take advantage of the available discounts and travel to Pomena from Dubrovnik by ferry with lower-cost ferry tickets. Children up to 3 years old can travel from Dubrovnik to Pomena for free, while children 3 to 12 years old are entitled to a 50% discount.

Note: children up to the age of 1 travel for free but are not issued a ticket, while children from 1 to 3 years old travel for free and are issued a ticket.

Cabins & accommodation

There are no cabins available on the ferries that operate the Dubrovnik-Pomena route.

Luggage

On Kapetan Luka - Krilo and TP-Line catamarans, each passenger is entitled to carry a piece of luggage up to 20 kg.

Pets on board

Pets are welcome on ferries operating on the Dubrovnik - Pomena route. Small pets must travel in a pet carrier or cage. Medium- and large-sized pets should wear a muzzle and be on a leash (except for the guide dogs) on the ferries to Pomena from Dubrovnik.

Keep in mind that there is usually an extra fee for your pet (pet ticket) and you should book it in advance. Also, the total weight of the bag with a pet should be up to 8 kg and it should not exceed 45x35x25 cm.

Take a look at some useful tips for your ferry trip to Pomena:

• In the busy months from May to September, we recommend arriving at the port of Dubrovnik at least 60 min prior to departure to avoid delays. The same applies to ferry trips on weekends.
• Normally, the embarkation to the catamarans starts 30 min before the hour of departure.

Where to take the ferry from Dubrovnik to Pomena

Ferries to Pomena depart regularly from the port of Dubrovnik in Croatia. The ferry port is located in the Gruž suburb and is approximately a 30-min walk to the historic center of Dubrovnik.

Alternatively, you can reach the port of Dubrovnik by car or bus. The nearest bus station to the port is around a 7-min walk.

Near the port area, you can find hotels, restaurants and cafes. There is also an ATM, a parking lot and a tourist information center at a close distance.
