Where to take the ferry from Marsala to Favignana?

Ferries to Favignana usually depart from the Colombo Pier (Molo Colombo) at the port of Marsala, the dedicated departure point for passenger services to the Egadi Islands. The port is on the southern waterfront of town, about 1 km from the city center and railway station, 18 km from Trapani-Birgi Airport (Vincenzo Florio Airport) and 105 km from Palermo Falcone-Borsellino Airport.

• By car: follow the A29 motorway toward Marsala, then continue via SS115 to the waterfront.

• By train: the local railway station is around 1 km from the port, with regular regional services from Trapani and Palermo.
• By taxi: taxis are readily available from the train station, airport shuttle stop and throughout the city, with a ride from Trapani Airport typically taking 25-30 min.

Ferries from Marsala usually dock at the port of Favignana, the island's only passenger port. The port is located in the heart of Favignana, with Piazza Madrice, the main streets, beaches, shops and restaurants all within a 5-10 min walk.
