Ferry from Split to Supetar (Brač)

No, specific seats cannot be reserved on the Split - Supetar catamarans, as seating is usually available on a first-come, first-served basis. Once onboard, you can choose any available seat.

Where do pets stay?

On Kapetan Luka - Krilo ferries, you can book a place for your pet in the onboard kennels. Prices for kennels are usually €5.

When outside of the kennels, smaller pets must be kept in their carrier, while larger pets must wear a muzzle and be kept on a leash.

Where to take the ferry from Split to Supetar

Ferries to Supetar typically depart from the port of Split (Trajektna Luka Split), the city’s main harbor. The port is around 20 km from Split Airport and within walking distance of the Old Town, the Riva promenade and Diocletian’s Palace.

At the port and in the surrounding area, you’ll find ticket offices, ATMs, cafés, fast-food spots, shops, souvenir stands and car rental agencies. The main bus and train stations are next to the port, while parking lots are available nearby, but spaces can be limited during peak season.

How to get to the port of Split?

• On foot: from near the city center or Old Town, you can reach the port in 5 to 10 min on foot.
• By car: follow the signs for the city center and then the ferry port.
• By bus: regional city lines such as lines 9, 10, and 15 run frequent daily schedules dropping passengers directly at the main train/bus station complex adjacent to the ship gates.
• From Split Airport (SPU): the shuttle bus from the terminal reaches the central bus station right at the port in 30-40 min, while municipal bus line 2 runs directly from the airport to the Pazar stop next to the Old Town in about 45-55 min.
• By taxi: a taxi ride from the airport directly to the port typically takes about 30 min.

Where does the ferry arrive in Supetar?

Ferries from Split also arrive at the port of Supetar on the northern coast of Brač in the Dalmatian archipelago. The Supetar ferry terminal is right on the waterfront, a short walk from the town center of Brač’s largest settlement. The port’s central location makes it the perfect gateway to discovering the island.
