No. Seating is usually available on a first-come, first-served basis in the passenger lounge, so we recommend arriving at the port early if you have a preferred seat.

How much luggage is allowed on the ferries?

On board Consorzio Vidali Group vessels to Burano from Torcello, you can bring along 1 piece of luggage (included in the ticket). Bear in mind that for any extra luggage, you will be charged with a fee.

Amenities for people with disabilities

Consorzio Vidali Group ferries are tourist passenger vessels and medium-sized motorboats, which unfortunately makes them less suitable for passengers with reduced mobility. The vessels may have architectural barriers (such as steps leading to the decks or narrow indoor lounges) that can make it difficult to move around independently on board.

However, the crew is available to assist passengers during boarding and disembarkation, within the limitations of the vessel's layout.

Can I travel with my pet?

You can travel with your pet on the Torcello - Burano ferry free of charge. Remember that you don’t need to issue a ticket for your pet.

Smaller animals must be kept in a pet carrier, while larger ones must wear a muzzle and a leash.

Where to take the ferry from Torcello to Burano?

The island port of Torcello has one departure dock, which is easily reachable on foot. The island is rather small in size, so you can’t go wrong!

Where does the ferry arrive in Burano?

In Burano, all ferries and water buses arrive at the island's only main pier, simply known as the Burano Pier (or ACTV Burano Station).

It is located on the northeastern side of the island. As Burano is a very small, entirely pedestrian island, it takes less than 5 min on foot along the canals to reach Piazza Galuppi, the island's main square.
