Where to take the ferry from Volos to Skyros

You can catch the ferry to Skyros from the mainland port of Volos in Thessaly. Volos Port is located in the city center and it is accessible on foot from most points of interest.

The airport of Volos is 40 km from the port. If you’re traveling to Volos by plane, train or bus, you can catch a local bus or a taxi to the port.

The port city of Volos is 3.5 hr from Athens and 2 hr from Thessaloniki by car.
