Ferries from the port of Genoa to Tangier normally depart from the Piazzale Iqbal Masih pier. You can easily reach the port of Genoa by bus or metro. Moreover, near the port of Genoa, you can find parking lots, restaurants, shops, and supermarkets.

How to get to the port of Genoa

There are several transportation options to reach the port of Genoa:

• By car: the port is located near the Genova Ovest highway exit. From there, simply follow the signs to the port.
• By train: several buses depart from the Genova Piazza Principe train station to the docks. The journey takes about 10 min.
• By metro: the closest stop is Dinegro, about a 10-min walk from the ferry terminal.
• By taxi or shuttle: there are taxi connections to the train station and the city center.

Where do ferries arrive in Tangier?

Ferries from Genova arrive at the Tanger Med mega port, located 50 km northeast of Tangier. You can reach it from Tangier in less than 1 hr by car or taxi and in more than 2 hr by bus. If you wish to leave your vehicle, there are 2 public parking lots in the port area.
